This option is for riders with experience looking for a 3rd party test (RST) for either the 2-wheel or 3-wheel endorsement. A valid motorcycle permit and access to a street-legal motorcycle is required.
M endorsement: Allows you to operate two-wheel and three-wheel motorcycles
3 endorsement: Allows you to operate only three-wheel motorcycles
If you are taking a course (BRC or BRC2) through Ace Rider Motorcycle School, the written and skills tests are included in your course. Please go to the course page for more information.
Gear/Clothing requirements at the time of testing:
Helment
Eye protection (can be helmet visor)
Gloves
Pants
Long-sleeved shirt
Closed-toe shoes
Documents/Paperwork required at the time of testing:
A valid motorcycle permit
Registration (including a license plate) for the motorcycle being used for testing
Motorcycle insurance for the motorcycle being used for testing
If you are using a motorcycle registered to someone else:
A signed note permitting you to use the motorcycle will be required.
The note must include the following
the registered owner's name
The registered owner's driver's license number
Explicit permission for the motorcycle to be used for a skills test
OR
The registered owner (with a driver's license) can be present for the test.
Motorcycle requirements at the time of testing:
Ace Rider Motorcycle School does not provide motorcycles for the skills test. The testee needs to bring a street-legal motorcycle. In Colorado, as defined in the Colorado Roadworthy Motorcycle Checklist DR2686, a street-legal motorcycle must have the following items in WORKING condition:
Head Lamps
Tail Lamps and Reflectors
Stop Lamps
Brakes
Horn
Mufflers
Mirrors
DOT on-road use tires
